Code of Conduct Against the Sexual Exploitation of Children and Adolescents (ESNNA)

The Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (MINCETUR) has established a policy to prevent and eradicate the sexual exploitation of children and adolescents (ESNNA) in the tourism sector. This policy is based on the Code of Conduct against ESNNA, a set of principles and actions that tourism service providers must follow. COME SEE PERU TOURS EIRL is a tourism company that has committed to and signed an agreement to implement this policy.

The Code of Conduct Against ESNNA and Our Commitment

At COME SEE PERU TOURS EIRL, we are committed to taking collective measures to prevent and eliminate the sexual exploitation of children and adolescents in all our services and throughout our value chain.

This Code of Conduct is a voluntary commitment that all individuals working at COME SEE PERU TOURS EIRL must adhere to. Its purpose is to protect children and adolescents from any form of sexual exploitation and human trafficking related to travel and tourism.

COME SEE PERU TOURS EIRL Implements Actions Against ESNNA

By adhering to the Code of Conduct against ESNNA, we commit to carrying out and continuously reinforcing a series of actions as part of our operations. These actions include:

  1. Training and Awareness:
Our administrative staff, as well as our logistics team (guides, cooks, drivers, support porters, and muleteers), have been properly trained to contribute to the Code of Conduct.

  2. Zero Tolerance Policy:
We do not offer, under any circumstances, nor do we comply with any requests related to sexual tourism involving children or adolescents, for both ethical and legal reasons.

  3. Legal Compliance:
As a travel agency and local tour operator, COME SEE PERU TOURS EIRL adheres to this commitment by signing the Code of Conduct against ESNNA with GERCETUR. We pledge to comply with the principles and duties outlined in this document, as well as with the General Tourism Law and its regulations regarding the prevention of ESNNA.

  4. Collaboration with Partners:
We work with our partners (hotels, restaurants, etc.) and their staff to help eradicate the commercial sexual exploitation of children and adolescents (ESNNA) across all sectors and stages of our tourism services.

  5. Social Responsibility:
In addition to our commitment to corporate social responsibility, we are dedicated to promoting the well-being of children in our region and country. We do this indirectly by supporting families living in the tourist destinations where we operate. We also provide support to children on special occasions.

At COME SEE PERU TOURS EIRL, we are dedicated to creating a safe and ethical tourism environment, free from the exploitation of children and adolescents. Together, we can make a difference and protect the most vulnerable members of our society.
