Do you love alpacas and llamas?
We know that one of the most important reasons in your visit to Perú are the alpacas and llamas and you have surely heard that the best place to see them up close is the sacred valley, so we have designed this Pisac alpaca farm tour that allows you both to learn about our culture as well as allow you to get closer to these beautiful animals of the Andes.

The Alpaca farm tour in the Sacred Valley was designed for adults, children, families and seniors who want to spend a good and fun time in the Sacred Valley, our tour is quite flexible can start very early as well as during the day, we do not worry about the time because Pisac is only 1 hour from the city of Cusco. This tour has different options to spend the day in a unique and fun way, you can visit Awanacancha (Alpaca farm) and feed the alpacas and llamas and you can also visit the Cochawasi (Animal sanctuary) where you can observe from the Andean condors to the spectacled bears.
Before visiting the alpacas and llamas farm in the Sacred Valley in Cusco you may have asked yourself the following questions:
Do alpacas spit?
Like llamas, alpacas do spit, but they only spit when they feel threatened or uncomfortable, so if you want to get a selfie with an alpaca and you see it is a little uncomfortable or it is eating, it is recommended not to insist because you could make the alpaca angry when this happens just avoid eye contact.

Never confuse an alpaca with a llama this seems to be difficult, but it is as easy as differentiating a dog from a cat, alpacas are usually smaller than llamas and a little more fluffier and look more cute than llamas.
Llamas are quite tall and thin, but you should also know that there is not only one breed of each animal, we have different breeds of llamas such as alpacas, and this is a bit confusing at first, but if you take into account the tips above then it will not be that difficult.
Awanacancha is a very entertaining place and if you visit the alpaca farm in the Sacred Valley with children then you don’t have to look for more tours Pisac full day tour can also be customize according to your interest. At Come See Peru Tours we are quite flexible just contact us and we will make your trip perfect.
Ancient buildings in Pisac?
If you are a fan of history and culture then Pisac could be your best option to explore and clear up your doubts about the Inca civilization, as most archaeologists think that 90% of the archaeological sites in Peru-Cusco were made by the Incas however it is known that long before the Incas took position of the Cusco valley, Cusco had already been inhabited by civilizations that developed techniques with high technology as well as hydraulic engineering, cyclopean constructions and created an ancient greenhouse which helped plants adapt to different temperatures then a great civilization flourished in the cusco valley millions of years ago much older to the Incas, this civilization which is still unknown developed techniques to cut the stones and fit them so precisely that no one believes they were made by humans.

Pisac still has a lot of mystery to discover but the majority only visits one sector which does not show much only the agricultural sector but what is there beyond Pisac? At Come See Peru Tours we don’t visit but explore because the best discoveries were made by people who took the time to travel and explore, so this could be your beginning as an explorer and what better than to do it with local experts.
Discover in Pisac fascinating places that will leave you speechless and know Cusco with the experts.
