Our Sacred Valley tour starts from Cusco, the pick up time will be confirmed by you according to your arrival time in Cusco or from your hotel.
We leave Cusco in our private transportation to the town of Chinchero. Here you will visit an alpaca farm and a demonstration of alpaca wool dyeing. Chinchero is a picturesque village located higher than Cusco. To prevent altitude sickness you will be given a Muña tea, effective to avoid altitude sickness.
Afterwards we will be driving to the town of Maras. During the drive you will be impressed by the beautiful views that the Sacred Valley offers.
After a 40 minute drive, we will visit the Salt Mines of Maras and the ruins of Moray. In the afternoon, we will travel to the town of Urubamba for lunch.
Finally, you will explore the Inca ruins of Ollantaytambo, a 1 hour and 20 minutes guided tour is offered here with our local guide. Then it’s time to say goodbye. If you plan to take the train to Aguas Calientes you will be dropped off at Ollantaytambo train station, if you are staying in Ollantaytambo or Urubamba we will drop you off at the door of your hotel.
