Advantages of traveling with us – This 5-Days tour from Cusco including Machupicchu offers a safe and well organized experience, the transfer during the whole tour is in sprinter. The service also includes the tour guide service in English or Spanish.
We will wait for you at the airport according to the arrival time of your flight to Cusco and we will take you to your hotel in Cusco. In the late afternoon we will visit Koricancha (Sun temple).
At approximately 8 am we will pick you up from your hotel to go to the Sacred Valley. Along the way we will make stops at the viewpoints for photographs. We will also visit the Alpacas farm and then we will go to the archaeological site of Pisac. We will explore the main sectors plus the religious sector hiking through the Inca trail passing through a tunnel that will take us to another dimension full of adventure and adrenaline. After this we will descend down to Pisac town and take the bus. From Pisac we will go to the province of Urubamba where we will have lunch, in the late afternoon we will arrive to Ollantaytambo town, where we will explore the ruins for 1 hour. The tour will finish at your hotel in Ollantaytambo. where you will spend the night.
Our transfer will pick you up from your hotel at 5:30am to the train station, you will take the train at 6:10 or 7:45 am you will travel for 1 hour and then get off at kilometer 104 where our local guide will be waiting for you, you will receive a lunch bag before taking the train, and you will take 1 extra for your guide, once you get off the train you will give them to your guide and together you will go to the control post where you will register with your entrance tickets and passport. Afterwards you will be inside the Inca Trail and start your expedition, you will climb for 3 hours approximately along the walk you will have the opportunity to see from birds and enough flora, as well as more than 200 species of orchids and begonias, you will also visit 2 archeological sites.

You will have lunch bag with an impressive view of the place at more than 2000 meters and you will arrive at the sun gate at 2 pm approximately from where you will have your first view of Machu Picchu, later you will descend 1 hour until you arrive at the archaeological site of Machu Picchu, we will stay taking pictures in the afternoon and at 4pm we will take the bus to the town of Aguas Calientes, once there we will take you to your hotel where you will spend the night, at 7 pm we will meet again for dinner and talk about the visit of Machu Picchu the next day.
Very early you and your local guide will take the bus to the Inca city, the 25 minute bus ride once at the entrance gate will have time to use the toilet, our guide will take you for a 2 to 3 hour tour exploring as much as possible the citadel of Machu Picchu. In the afternoon you will get off at the village and take the train back to Ollantaytambo, at the Ollantaytambo station our driver will be waiting for you to take you back to Cusco in a 2 hour trip.
Very early in the morning at approximately 4am our transfer will be picking you up from your hotel to board the bus that will take you to the town of Cusipata, the bus trip will be 3 hours and a half approximately. We will arrive and have breakfast and then continue for 40 more minutes until we arrive at the beginning of the walk, here you will have 2 options
- Walk the 2 hours
- Rent a horse only for the ascent (recommended)
Once at the top we will have time for photographs and enjoy the view, the maximum elevation is 5100 meters, after about 2 hours we will descend to the place of origin to take the bus and go to the restaurant for lunch, after lunch we will return to Cusco in a trip of 3 to 4 pm.

It is necessary to acclimatize in Cusco, one or two days before starting the tour. For a good acclimatization is necessary to rest as much as possible, eat little, drink plenty of liquid, especially coca tea which has known healing and digestive properties. Adequate acclimatization avoids affecting the “soroche” or altitude sickness, which could cause numerous health problems.

General Difficulty – Easy to Moderate Difficult (depends on your fitness level).
If you are worried about not being able to do this trek, we recommend that you do at least two long-distance (5 km) mountain walks in your home country before starting your trip to Machu Picchu.
If you are out of breath, or you are trying too hard, reduce the distance and intensity until you reach a comfortable pace and slowly increase your endurance. Be sure to go slowly on your hike, particularly uphill. Take a deep breath and don’t strain yourself, that’s all, and you’re ready to make this incredible hike.
