What is the Entrance Ticket for the Ollantaytambo Ruins?
The entrance pass to the ancient ruins of Ollantaytambo is called a “tourist ticket or boleto turistico”. This ticket gives you access not only to the ruins of Ollantaytambo, but also to three other important sites: the Moray archaeological ruins, Pisac ruins and Chinchero. It is important to note that there is no separate ticket to visit each of the sites separately.
Where to Buy the Ollantaytambo Ruins Entrance Fees
The entrance ticket to the Ollantaytambo ruins is obtained directly at the site; it is not necessary to buy it in advance or online. However, it is essential to carry cash in Peruvian currency, as credit cards and dollars are not accepted for payment of the entrance fee. Outside the ruins of Ollantaytambo, you will find a ticket office where you must buy your entrance ticket. After purchasing your ticket, remember to fill it out with your full name.
